DR. Taq DNA Polymerase (DR00105)

■ Description

A gene encoding the Thermus aquaticus (Taq) DNA polymerase was cloned and expressed in E. coli, and the enzyme was purified to homogeneity. The purified Taq polymerase (Dr. Taq) has optimal activity at high temperatures (72℃), which helps amplify secondary-structured regions. Dr. Taq DNA Polymerase has greatly reduced activity of 5'→3' exonuclease activity. As a result, formation of erroneously amplified products caused by the 5'→3' exonuclease activity of wild type polymerase is effectively prevented. In addition, high GC-content or secondary-structured regions can be efficiently amplified due to the genetic modifications in the catalytic domain of the polymerase.

DR. HOT DNA Polymerase (DR00205)

■ Description

Dr. HOT DNA Polymerase is efficient and sensitive version of Dr. Taq DNA polymerase using hot start PCR technology. Being modified chemically, it is inactive at temperatures lower than 75℃ and requires a heat activation step at 95℃. Hot start property of Dr. HOT DNA Polymerase greatly increases the specificity and efficiency of target DNA amplification. It can achieve highly specific amplification of DNA fragments shorter than 3kb, and amplification of cDNA and genomic DNA. The enzyme is highly suitable for automated PCR machines, for which PCR reaction mixtures are prepared at room temperature. It can also be used for Primer extension and for Multiplex PCR.

DR. MAX DNA Polymerase (DR00305)

■ Description

Dr. MAX DNA Polymerase is Dr. Taq DNA Polymerase supplemented with 3'→5’ proofreading activity and a PCR enhancing factor for improved efficiency and fidelity. Dr. MAX DNA Polymerase can be used to amplify DNA longer than 15 kb, which is difficult with common Taq polymerases alone. Thus, this product is improved in both fidelity (> 2 fold) of PCR products and amplification efficiency of longer PCR products.

DR. Pfu(+) DNA Polymerase (DR00402)

■ Description

Dr. Pfu(+) DNA Polymerase is Dr. Pfu DNA Polymerase  supplemented with an enhancer, which maintains the activity of Dr. Pfu DNA Polymerase in the presence of inhibitors produced during high-temperature PCR cycles. Thus, high-fidelity DNA polymerization is obtained with Dr. Pfu(+) DNA Polymerase, allowing amplification of DNA up to 15 kb long. Dr. Pfu(+) DNA Polymerase is more effective than Dr. Pfu DNA Polymerase and has a high amplification rate (1 kb/min). Higher levels of PCR products are often obtained even with low abundance template DNA.

■ Description

Dr. MAX II DNA Polymerase is a unique blend of MAX Taq and HOT start DNA Polymerases. The 3´→5´ exonuclease activity of DNA Polymerase increases the fidelity and robust amplification of MAX II DNA Polymerase. Dr. MAX II DNA Polymerase offers two fold higher fidelity than MAX DNA Polymerase alone. A wide range of PCR products can be generated, up to > 15 kb from lambda DNA or from human genomic DNA.

■ Description

Dr. Pfu-Prime DNA Polymerase is Dr. advanced version of Dr. Pfu DNA Polymerase for long range PCR and challenging PCR applications. High-fidelity DNA Polymerization is obtained from the Dr. Pfu-Prime DNA Polymerase and allowing superior yield in both routine and challenging PCR applications. Thus, Dr. Pfu-Prime DNA Polymerase is well suited for amplification of DNA up to 25kb long. Dr. Pfu-Prime DNA Polymerase is more effective and has a higher amplification rate (20sec/kb) than Dr. Pfu(+) DNA Polymerase. It gives you the advantage of using fast cycling time. Higher levels of PCR products are often obtained even with low abundance template DNA.
